Set in the beautiful Lorton Valley in the north-western Lake District, the Loweswater and Brackenthwaite Agricultural Show is a traditional Lakeland agricultural show celebrating rural life, local farming, equestrian competition and community spirit. Run entirely by volunteers, the Show brings together horse and pony classes, sheep, goats, poultry, vintage vehicles and machinery, Cumberland & Westmorland Wrestling, sheepdog trials, local crafts, trade stands, children’s classes and much more. With a friendly atmosphere, stunning surroundings and a strong agricultural heritage, the Show offers a fantastic day out for competitors, exhibitors and visitors alike.
